Christmas

This year, we went to Idaho for Christmas. My parents were gone for most of the month, so the first order of business was to get the Christmas Tree up. It is quite the process...

We've begun the tradition of opening some "Christmas PJ's" on Christmas Eve. Seth was super excited to finally get to open a present after waiting for SO long!

Modeling the new PJs.
I'm not sure why Seth automatically wraps his arm around Audrey's neck every time I try to get a picture of the two of them. She's not amused.

 Christmas morning.
The paper is better than the actual present at this age...

Someone is pretty pleased with Christmas:

Audrey thought this whole Christmas thing was pretty fun too:

It was really fun this year watching Seth get so excited about all his gifts. He would get it halfway unwrapped, see what it was and start screaming, "A Train!!!!! A Train!!!!" or "A Car!!! A Carrrrr!!!"

Trying out his remote control train:

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa Werrett!

It wouldn't be Christmas in Idaho without some sledding on the infamous "Kay's Hill." I began by starting just a little way up the hill, then the next run I went a little further up, then I took him halfway up and he started yelling, "faster, faster, faster!" So, I took him all the way up to the top and he had a blast. We went all the way up from then on and he was on Cloud 9.
Who would have thought from our usually pretty cautious little guy...

We had a fabulous trip. It was so fun to see everyone and play!
